MarketWorks is a weekly newsletter subscription covering the global petrochemical industry, targeted at financial services and industry professionals. The report is concise, pointed, and easy to absorb. MarketWorks presents data and commentary on ethylene margins, derivative margins and returns, and integrated producer margins for North American producers each week. An international section rotates similar coverage of European, Asian, and Middle Eastern producers, along with a Global Summary. So, the global market for petrochemicals is covered every four weeks. Finally, a special topics page covers a variety of topics including price forecasts, merger analyses, and market profiles for secondary derivative products, like phenol.
MarketWorks is delivered via email in pdf format.
Suscriptions to MarketWorks are $900 per year.
Integrated Products Profiles (IPP) look at production economics the same way that companies evaluate them. Petrochemical producers make ethylene, but sell polyethylene, ethylene glycol and many other products. IPP allow users to evaluate margins and returns by moving through a product portfolio.
Integrated Products Profiles can be used to mirror the product portfolio of a company or a geographic market. IPP demonstrate the integrated margins that are realized within the selected value chain by feeding monomer, like ethylene, into a variety of selected products — polyethylene, MEG and Styrene monomer, for example.

Ethylene Economics is an interactive, customizable spreadsheet, modeling all ethylene production facilities in a relevant region. The Excel spreadsheets calculate cost of production and margins for each facility from a common reference price page. A supply curve and margin curve are generated by a one-touch macro. All facilities and feedstock slates are included. Customizable features include prices, operating rates, mass balances and feedstock slates. This is an intensive, quantitative product that gives clients results on regional margins for ethylene, the position of each producer along the cost curve, and a perfect tool for “what-if” analyses. The Ethylene Economics spreadsheets are available for the regions of North America (49 crackers), Europe (48 crackers), Asia (68 crackers), and the Middle East (22 crackers). Monthly updates of reference prices for any of these regions are available as an additional service.
Web demo are available on request.
Ethylene Economics are available by region for $2,400each.

Operating Cash Flow Models are available for Georgia Gulf Corporation, Westlake Plastics, Ineos and LyondellBasell. These models are significant upgrades over previous versions, requiring less maintenance while providing more insight into profitability.
These Operating Cash Flow Models project cash flows from the integrated operations of these producers’ chemical businesses. A few basic price inputs feed cost and margin algorithms producing cash flows. Sensitivities to prices are presented along with ranges of probable margins.
Operating Cash Flow Models are available for $1,200.
